Meet Dr. Emily Wang (Dallas, TX)

Emily Wang, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2022 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from University of Texas at Austin in 2018.

Dr. Wang specializes in primary care, glaucoma, diabetes, ocular disease, contact lenses, and pediatrics. Growing up, Dr. Wang went through her own eye care journey as she began wearing glasses and contact lenses in elementary school. This journey sparked Dr. Wang’s fascination with the wide scope of methods for eye care and vision correction, which led to her becoming an optometrist. Dr. Wang loves the meeting and interacting with patients every day, while also helping them maximize their days with clear vision.

In Dr. Wang’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being active outdoors soaking up the sunny weather, trying new foods, and hanging out with her cat MooMoo.

My son had the best experience with Dr Wang and staff today. He is autistic, a total chatterbox, and... very nervous at doc appts of any kind. They were so friendly, patient, and kid hearted. The nurse on staff was so gentle and friendly with my son he was comfortable right off the bat. My son asked a personal question of the doctor in that completely inappropriate way autistic kids do when he met her and she was so sweet/professional about it. Thank you for your patience and kindness. We appreciated you all so much.
